The Day Lynnie Lied

Thank goodness, I caught this on video.

After a long weekend together, Lynn from Chicago, Jenny from Maryland, Brandy from Pepperell and me, from Shirley (we were missing the other BFFL, Patti from Pepperell) went to see Lynn's Dad for a martini on the ocean and an amazing lobster dinner at Lynn's Dad's. I had forgotten, until Lynnie reminded me that dinners at her parent's house was usually at least a 17-course meal -- the last 15 courses being unique after dinner drinks. I was driving home that evening so unfortunately, I couldn't partake in the 15-year-old frozen vodka from Russia or any of the expensive cognac but Lynnie could.

She starts by telling us a story of how drunk she got at her Dad's retirement party because her Dad wanted to offer her a few unique cocktails. Listen to the video carefully, especially towards the end. As Lynnie considers trying a new aperitif that her Dad was drinking, her voice changes and from just the smell she knows that she's not going to like it...
