How To Change Your NAT Type From "STRICT" To "OPEN" On MW3 PS3

AFTER MY PS3 UPDATE I JUST REALISE THAT MY NAT DOESN'T STAY OPEN PERMANENT NO MORE, HAVE TO INSERT MW2 CD BUMMER! I'll find a new solution

i done this with btbroadband it should be similar on all other broadband providers

@TheWOWMontage Ok! Try this, It has worked for me so far. Create a static ip address on the ps3. And open up bthomehub settings and port forwarding. And assign the Call of duty, ps3 and xboxlive applications to your PS3. Save and restart hub. Worked for me. Open NAT type. But, i havent tried any other online games.

@Speciaindividual yeah ive done that and it does work but its not permanent. im getting fed up of putting mw2 to open my nat just because i played a different game online which can turn your nat type strict!

People, forget all this. I did some research and found in a forum a very quick and easy solution. Load up MW3 to lobby screen and quit game using PS button. Load up MW2 (if you still own a copy) and do the same; load up the lobby screen. Hopefully your NAT type should be open. THEN, eject disc using the console eject button and then finally load up MW3 again. I was sceptical at first, but it worked for me. And I have a BT homehub and live in the UK. Thumbs up...you know the score.

when i type my ip adress in the browser motorola netopia comes up the password and user name dosent come up wa internet do u have
