Stoney: The one and only Shaun Murphy...still kickin' in 2011...just released her second solo album, "The Trouble with Lovin", (genre: blues, soul)...Shaun is a living legend and one of the greatest female singers to come out of Detroit in the last forty years. Search for her and find her band's website...can not post it here..thx!!!!
If ya ever find yerself wanting to do tunes for 'toons (or *any* live-action etc. material that I might have on the project desk)...feel free to come on by Earl's Court, London, UK [Smile] (I am an expatriate Chicagoan, by the way..)
And I *am* serious about the Broadway thing....ya just might wanna consider that, too!
Thanks for the kind words. Stoney was pregnant with her daughter, Pasha, at the time of the recording. After she did her amazing solo near the end of the song, she broke down crying.
that picture looks them so match and sweet...the old 90s

Always reminds me of the sad loss of Little Madeleine McCann, I wonder if her parents are aware of this track?

Awesome! Sounds like it shoulda ended up as a part of a Broadway Play.
Ralph Terrana (co-composer with The Much Regretted Mike Valvano) conceived the lyric whilst looking at his young child playing.
She's O.K. of course...but such a *deep* lyric to flow from his pen!
Too bad he didn't opt to continue as a Jobete writer...who knows *what* other gems he might be doin' today?
An UBER-MEGA-RAVE-FAVE o'mine, of course!
Thanx, m8's
