Watch what happened when members of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association put on a brief European rodeo tour in Spain and Portugal. They apparently figured no one would know what they were doing, but that proved to be a big miscalculation, as members of Fight Against Animal Cruelty in Europe and Initiative Anti-Corrida were ready and waiting to video document abuse.

  • as for the bulls the bulls i dont know why the tails are pulled up so tight. sometimes when we are practicing or just starting out riding bulls we will tie the tail loosely to the bulls leg to stop it from swing it tail as much wich makes it twist around more. alsosome bulls will start spining and act like dogs and chace the tail. so it may be to keep them bucking out straight.

  • @mslongbay1 It was to irritate the bull. It is against this rodeo association's own rules.

  • i have been doing rodeo for many years and have worked in the chutes with the bronks and they dont stab the horse. the horses head is tied with a piece of thin rope to stop it from puting its head up and rearing up going backwards over the rails behing it. or putting its head down and laying down in the chute. the knife is to cut the rope not to cut the horse.

  • @mslongbay1 'Thin' piece of rope? Try again. There was no rope to cut, this was to jab the horse out of the chute.

  • Uhh... what? You sure he wasn't just poking the horse? I know in rodeos where I'm at, when you mark out the horse, you just touch its neck with your spurs and it goes. Are the rules different in Spain and Portugal? Maybe they just give him a nudge with a pointed object to get him out of the chute. Was the horse bleeding out the side of his neck to prove that he had been stabbed?

  • @Alexandros1294 ". Are the rules different in Spain and Portugal?" These are USA PRCA members putting on a 'show'. They're supposed to be using PRCA rules.

""they just give him a nudge with a pointed object to get him out of the chute"" What happened to your 'trained to buck', 'love to buck' nonsense?

  • @mslongbay1 I can't see any rope. and I've got good eyes.

  • ever see the video where the bronc's tail was rapped on the chute only when he turned to go out he couldn't? took him 3 tugs to rip enough tail hair out to go on bucking! more rodeo savvy right?

  • @Alexandros1294, "needs HELP"?? Some help. Please, stay away from animals.

  • The guys that talks sounds like Tom Hanks

  • I cannot control doing business with said companies as i am a minor, but i haven't and will never go to rodeos.

  • All forms of animal cruelty is sick, rodeo's and bullfights are just as bad as eachother.
