Toon Boom has an automatic lipsyncing function, which isn't great, which is why the mouth movements aren't that fluid in this animation.

But I didn't have to do that much myself.

yeah i agree its better to do the mouth movements yourself. have you tried any other type of character movements such as walking with arms, legs?
