HP today marked 30 years of innovation and industry acclaim with a limited edition HP 12c Financial Calculator, the gold standard of business calculation, which the company has sold continuously for three decades.

I must object. When I think of Tootsie-rolls and RadioFlyers I immediately think of Travolta Fever.

I'm not sure the 12C is responsible for popularizing financial calculations in RPN, as previous HP financial calculators had already been doing so since 1973. The HP 80, followed by the 22, 38E, and 38C were all very popular among students and business users prior to the 12C.
