On August 5, 2008, UCLA police, the FBI, the LAPD, the Los Angeles Fire Department and other public safety agencies conducted a large-scale training exercise on the UCLA campus.

The exercise was designed to test the agencies and their ability to work together when faced by large-scale violence on a college campus.

  • Very good

  • when was this. do you guys have sirens? you should see at the schools near me in d.c., like AU. they close off all the streets, which are the main ones into d.c. at my school we don't do that. we just have a test of our emergency warning siren. i guess cause our school is small, but it is an open campus. hmmm....

  • we did this at my highschool it was extreamly realistic and they had a good story line with it i think it was great practice and look forrward to doing it again in the future. even tho i was just in a class room the swat did a good job marching us out it was great evn tho the swat and police made a few mistakes i think it was good practice for them and us as well as a great learning experiance =D
