  • i guess that idiot who got up and asked Rifind and Furgeson such a stupid question didnt listen to anything they said and fell into Kagan and Keane's statistic and political rabble about how things are "getting better". Iraq will NEVER be friendly towards the US, not by America's terms. NEVER. unless the US maintains a troop presence virtually forever. But people fall for the "its getting better" crap. I cant believe it.

  • Rifkin is by far the best speaker of the bunch and I for one agree mostly with him. Simplification are made by all participants and I can see no reason for Rifkin being worse than anyone else.

  • Rifkind is eloquent and less dry than the other speakers, but has a tendency to grossly simplify matters in his arguments.

    Cases in point:

"All wars eventually come to an end."

"If the world's great superpower is not able to beat some insurgents in Iraq in military terms, it would be a very strange situation."
