@joejoe417 wasn't supposed to be funny. How is rape funny? Slim Pickens is only playing the part of a sheriff insensitive to rape victims. He may be playing a racist sheriff here, but if the victim had been a poor white he would have still took it as a joke. I do not belive that Slim Pickens would have expected audiences to like the character he is playing here.
