Rockin' Fiddlers' Challenge, Measures 1-8

This is my first attempt at recording myself for this challenge. I am an adult returning violinist, I started playing again about 4 years ago, and taking lessons 2-and-a-half years ago, after a long break from playing when my kids were babies and toddlers.

My camera does not do very well with dynamic contrasts, it tends to even everything out. But I did try to make the crescendo at the end (really!)

I am getting started on the challenge a bit late, I was away on vacation when the first music came out. And, I am finding the next section, measures 9-16, very challenging so it will take a while before I feel like I can post that (if ever).
