It took you a while to get the saw started at first. Those Stihl's usually start in a couple of pulls. Did you start it without the choke?

What bar and chain combo you running. I have one running .365 50 gauge non safety 16 inch and it is a cuttin fool.

@GRASSSLINGER just to make sure, this saw doesnt have a primer bulb right? I was told to pull the starter a few times on the off position to prime the fuel system

@Mightylite94 Nope it don't have the primer bulb. I would pull the trigger wide open & push the switch all the way down to full choke & crank it until it starts firing & then put the switch on the on position & keep cranking until it fires to life. I do that to mine all the time.
