What do the lines and wrinkles in your own face reveal? In her talk and workshop at East West, author Jean Haner shared some of her 25-years of experience in the ancient Chinese science of face reading. Though generally seen as a game, at best fascinating and fun, Jean explained some of the many ways face-reading can be practically and spiritually useful.

I have always always felt like there was something that correlated between the features of your face and what you chose to come in with or your plan. This is so cool!

In any case, though I know nothing about face-reading, Jean Haner clearly knows her stuff and presents it well. East West has an amazing events program.

Inborn feelings of patriotism or spirituality are ridiculed, their country's history is trashed along with its Christian values, and any hint of spiritual, especially Christian expression is outlawed. Even the most basic biological facts of their existence are treated like a bundle of meaningless self-definitions. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so tragic.

"It can be a little crazy-making..."
That's a great line, and it applies all too well to America's entire system of education. Nowadays, kids with the bad luck to to attend public schools are taught from day one that life has no design and there is no blueprint, period.
