  • cool review. subscribed

  • @lexen Thank you!

  • Can you tell me its range? How many meters does it cover? I usually take photos at the sport matches. And I don't know if this flash help me there. I like the price of this flash, and don't want to pay more. Hope you will help me with your advice! Thanks for the answer!

  • @Sacrament369 I do not think this would be great coverage for your needs. While it is a good flash, I would still consider it a budget flash. Great for the money!. If you need to use flash for sports, it would depend on how close. For boxing or close range, this will be fine. For basketball, soccer, and football, I would recommend a faster lens.

  • is this flash of yours still working? planning to get this... how reliable and "lifespan" of this flash..?

  • @rabbyph Still working great as of July 2011 :)

  • By the way, do you happen to own or tried a Yongnuo YN 460 II?

I read it somewhere it has a greater GN Number from YN 465... is it any better than 465 (despite of the iTTL mode).

  • Very good review bro!

You're always visualize what I want to see,

and always describe stuffs that I need to know.

Your explanation is very simple and easy to understand. (no technical jargon)

    Keep doing the good work!!!

  • Great review.. Thanks :)

  • is this compatible for Canon 1000D???

  • @Sacrament369 For your needs, you more than a flash, you need high speeds with high ISO. When you shoot with flash on and set high ISO the guide number of your flash increases, so the coverage range too. If you understand, that's why Canon 1D series with big lenses with open apertures are the most used in sports, they rarely use flashes.

  • Will it be good for nightlife photography?

  • got mixed up on choosing yn-465 or yn-467 for my nikon d90

I want use it with a soft box or reflector for outdoor portrait, that i think optical slave trigger won't work for me on s2 mode,so i had to purchase a radio trigger for it(i think it doesn't have a synch cable port for wire trigger)

so a better choice for me is more power full flash with radio trigger like yongnuo Rf-602 Or hannel combi-tf ?

am i right, any recommend or better radio trigger ?

  • Excellent review!!!
