Salaam alaikum wa rahmat Allah wa barakatuh everyone,
This is a series of videos containing an excerpt from the book "The Ideal Muslimah" by Muhammed Ali Al-Hashimi. It pertains to the importance of sisterhood amongst Muslimahs, and the role that sisterhood plays in Islam. Insh'Allah these videos will be beneficial not only for my sisters out there, but my brothers as well, as the guidelines and importance of sisterhood and brotherhood are pretty much the same.

wa alaikum salaam wa rahmat Allah wa barakatuh,

yeah, I agree, this is one thing that the author wrote about which I didn't really agree with...I didn't like the way he generalized "western" society. Yes, people here can be very cold and disconnected, but they also can be very loving and warm. Personally, I've met some pretty cold and disconnected Arabs. But yeah, the words in the video are not my own, they're from a book :)
