I have the DS version. Didn't know there was such a difference in music quality.... Damn the ds and it's horrid sound quality!!!

(Though the simplified tunes do have a "straight through your ears into your most cherished memories" quality to them)

@yoster39 Well the psp version does not have Enemies from Within (theme from when u fight Maderas), you can fight Zetta Adell and Rozalin, some stages has been altered (enemy wise), Etna mode, Music Shop, and Ad-Hoc multiplayer mode.

Disgaea 1 is the best one I've played thus far. It's not every day you get to see a company that has fun making a game AND has it not suck at the same time.
