This was a bridge we built to replace an old snowmobile bridge. The beginning is all the photos taken, the time lapse video is after. This was a huge project and vital to east and west travel on our trail system. Visit www.weedsportwinterwanderers.org for more club information.
Big Kudos to your group for bettering our sport!!! I have a question though. How come you laid the "I" beam on there side instead of standing it up?

@letssled The orange beams use to be from a local P&C grocery store that was demolished. In the process of demolishing the building, it appeared what I assume was an excavator with a grapple crushed both ends of all beams. This didn't allow us to use the beams on the stronger side because they would no longer sit flat. Being the beams were already in the woods, and the thickness was 5/8", we didn't have a method of straightening them. Fortunately, sleds were all it needed to hold.

How long did it take to build that small ass bridge?
Nateisbetter 4 months ago
@Nateisbetter We started it on November 13 and completed it on December 11. We had weekends only available and that was limited because of hunting season.

@Nateisbetter The worst part was the last day out there, we had to plow a road with the groomer across the field just to get the trucks close to the site, then there was 2 feet of snow on the bridge we had to shovel before we could start.
