could anyone help me out with the pattern he starts off with with his picking hand? easy song, easy chord... i'm alittle rusty on my right hand arpeggios.
The right hand fingering in this piece is pretty straightforward throughout the tune. Generally, the thumb plays the sixth and fifth strings, the index plays the fourth, the middle finger plays the third and the ring plays the first string. Hope this helps.
Thanx. I'v been playing classical for a couple of years off and on... He uses proper finger placement. I was wondering if anyone knew the pattern he uses. Such as a normal roll would be T-T-1-2-3-2-1-T-T ect...
well I think the pattern in the beginning is T-T-1-2-3-2-1-3-2-3-2-1 :P and in this video he also uses his pinky but on the Forastiere Live DVD he doesn't so it's probably also """duable""" (I think that's an understatement) without using your pinky finger
