she died so very young. but she left us a lifetime of movie memories. she is a classic and will always be a legend.

Oh...I had some help! AND it wasn't from the staff. I only had a few minutes so I had to get to her resting place somehow. I will never forget that moment! Never! I plan on going back actually. I also went to the Hollywood Museum, which used to be the Max Factor museum, I believe and I got to see the make-up rooms where he made-up all of the actresses, including Jean!

bettiep, how did you manage to get Forest Lawn to allow you to visit her crypt? FL is funny about stars' graves being visited. They rarely let fans do that, & Harlow's is a private area. A few fans are allowed to, though.

Yes, her death is sad, but I see her as being in a happier place. She is happy, and she is not suffering. That is what I believe!

We went to Hollywood last month...and I will never forget it. Never. My husband and I went to Forest Lawn where she is resting, I walked up to the little chapel where her service was held..and well let me just say that it was surreal, wonderful, and peaceful. I just imagined all of the stars there that day when she was laid to rest. But the best part was going into the Grand Masoleum and visiting HER. I spoke a few words to her and cried. I will never forget it.

Thank you for sharing those poignant moments with us. My video tributes to Jean are all quite sad, reflecting her early death which is still being felt amongst her fans today!

This video was so hard for me to watch, partly because I love this beautiful actress so much, and, partly because you made such a wonderful dedication to her! I'm sure she's smiling up there in heaven watching this. Thanks so much!

Thank you Terry. When I see Jean Harlow, knowing how young she was when she died, just makes me feel emotional and this is reflected in the video. This may be the 'Finale' tribute but it certainly won't be the last!
