Baby Hasani, having just been bullied a little by one of the troop's large females, clings very tightly to his adoptive mother's leg for comfort. Hasani's daddy, Oscar Jonesy, follows close behind.
And thanks to this extraordinary adoptive mother, Hasani is now a pretty big and confident boy. Within 3 more years and he will be almost as big as the females; he will grow up to be as big as, if not bigger, than his silver back dad. My amazement never ceases, when I see how he went from a tiny helpless baby, being cared for, initially, by humans & then by his adoptive mother, soon after.... to now, a big, strong, handsome lad, practicing his "silver back" stance by watching his dad...
@HenryDavidT Thanks for writing. I really have to get back out there to see Hasani while he's still a youngster, not that I won't still adore him when he's older.
