Tom is such a cool non- rockstar- so humble. Slayer aren't sell outs- they've consistently put out awesome awesome metal for 25+ yrs. Has Metallica done the same?

i wanna say this definetely... why if a band becomes mainstream do they sell out? i don't get that... you guys cry and beg for the day that justin bieber is less popular then tom araya, for example.
but then tom gets a taste of more mainstream fame, and becomes a somewhat household name and you say he sold out and you shun him
did his lyrics change? no. did his bass change? no. did his voice change? he just doesn't do his highs... and thats cause he's older.
