Hattie Morahan plays levelheaded Elinor Dashwood and Charity Wakefield is her impulsive sister Marianne. Though poor, they attract a trio of very promising gentlemen: soon-to-be wealthy Edward Ferrars , heroic Colonel Brandon and Byronic John Willoughby.

it's a nice version, but it was so much better with kate winslet, emma thobmson, hugh grant and especially alan Rickman!!!

Jane Austen is a very good author and the book "sense and sensibility" is a excellent story. I do not think it is like 12 year olds gossiping. In the movies, the one starring Alan Rickman and Kate Winslet is the one I like.

Dont get me wrong, I love british period dramas, they are the best and as I watched many I cant help it, but there are many handsome actors but like none (or very few) pretty actresses! I find it difficult to find a british period drama with a main actress that would be pleasent to look at!

I liked this version a little better than the one with Kate Winslet, I have to say. Well, actually I like parts of this version better than the older one, and parts of the older more than this one, so it's 50/50 I guess :)

Where is the full movie? I´m sure, I watched it here on Youtube, but I can`t find it now. Please help me, because I love this version so much and I would like to watch it again!!!!
