To be honest, this grinds my gears just a little bit. Aside from the fact that it is just an epi-challenge, the "hiding" of the stars is one of the less well designed things in Braid. There's "hidden" like "discoverable with inventive use of the game mechanics or careful observation", as I would have expected from Braid, and then there's "hidden" like "in an antechamber that, due to being invisible and far away from everything else, can only plausibly be discovered by accident".

I hate using walkthroughs like this, but you see my problem was believing there would be some actual puzzle solving involved in obtaining the stars. Here I was looking for star shaped objects in the levels and wondering what to do with them, when in fact the only practical way to obtain them is to have prior knowledge of their location, lest you be reduced to the most absurd, arbitrary fumbling about at the peripheries of each level until by happenstance you find the secret loophole. My mistake.

really you can, im not lying :) but to do it you have to make a perfect run, only one mistake will ruin everything

@NekitoTwilight you can't because levers wont be subject to time in ending after collecting 7 stars

Im' going to be honest, I tried to reach that slowly moving cloud when I first played braid, it seemed that it was there just for nothing, but then I had to do a lot of stuff around the house (cleaning my bedroom and all that) and I forgot to pause the game, then I returned to the game like 1 and a half hour later to find myself in the middle of the stage in that cloud, I felt so confused that day...

@Eepicman Best game if pertaining to puzzles. This stuff doesn't beat GTA V lol

Yeah, this might just be the best game in existence. It's got these amazing challenges, some philosophy, and some very clever use of the time manipulation.
