I think on your motherboard work ok and with full bandwitch but on my will not, thats because it's designed for PCIE x4 v2.0 thats give bandwitch 2GB/s, my motherboard have PCIE x16 v1.0 and if I connect this card to it will be only 1GB/s bandwitch. Asus should designed that card on PCIE x8 for older motherboards.

Do you want to hear something really really funny? The freagin card does not work on my new Asus Maximus III Formula and this mobo is in the freagin official supported list! It does not recognise any of my hard disks any more while it worked fine on my Asus P5Q Deluxe! LOL!

heh :) funny, they don't know what they write on their site with this compatibility motherboards list, I decide to wait and little and maybe they release something new on PCIEx8 (USB3.0+SATA6) by Asus or other brand like Buffalo,Sharkoon....on PCIEx4 (only USB3.0) cards, because their current cards on PCIEx1 v1.0 are limit to 250MB/s.

According to Asus site the supported models are * Maximus III Formula * P7P55D Deluxe * P7P55D EVO * P7P55D PRO * P7P55D * P7P55D LE * P7P55 LX

I have a P5Q Deluxe and it works fine. What do you think?

Look, I cannot guaranty it will work on your mobo, but if you have a second 16X slor or a 4X one I don't see why.

If you buy it, you take a risk, as I did. If it works ok, if it doesn't better luck next time! ;)

here is answer from Asus support :

"Hello Sir/Madam

More than likely because the chipset does not support USB 3.0 or SATA 6.0 devices. That is new technology and only certain boards are compatible with that. Maybe in the future there will be a bios upgrade to make more boards compatible."

Here is an answer from Toutagamon's support:

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Toutagamon told me to tell you to go fuck yourself, because he is using it in his non supported motherboard. Better luck promoting your own products next time."

LOL

Ok don't send them that. :P Anyway I cannot tell you what to do. It's your call mate! ;)
