"An Expensive Glass of Water" was an episode of BEN CASEY that featured Chester Morris (1901-1970) as an irascible millionaire facing financial ruin & a brain tumor. In this scene Sam Jaffe (1891-1984) attempts to get him to see the light.
MANY thanks for posting this powerful clip! Chester Morris was such an underated actor....loved him as Boston Blackie in those 1940's B movies. This show was one of the best medical dramas ever. Sam Jaffe & Vince Edwards were a DYNAMITE team....just as Richard Chamberlain & Raymond Massey were on the competing "Dr Kildaire" show.
@TheSunmanho No no, he is supposed to be Greek. Jewish or not, Sam Jaffe is a compelling presence. Check out The Asphalt Jungle. Brilliant!
