When Google buys BSkyB (or vice versa) Sky+/SkyGo will merge/integrate with Google+ / Glasses/Earth/Maps/StreetView and this creepy future will become the norm.

No he doesn't die, he takes the grain out and with it the memories that was stored on it.. he had flashes of the memories stored whilst taking it out. He'll still have memories but can't visually see it on a screen like he did with the grain chip..
