Hear Me Colour: version 3

Again, sorry for the re-RE-upload but I wanted to put my web address on this film to stop people downloading it without any copyright protection :) Plus this is for my new website, check it out at

My final animation for my second year animation degree course. We had to make a 1 1/2 min max film that was either a short film, an advert or character interaction. I chose film :D

So, after at least 6 months of pre-production, design and animation it's finally completed, fully coloured in ANIMO with backgrounds in Photoshop elements.

My initial idea was about two people (the children, Eric and Rhea) filling the world with colour through the means of communication...but I hope that makes sence by just watching the film :D

Hey there!

That's a crying shame that your course is so limiting. When I was at uni the 3D students were often being berated for not drawing enough traditionally...thankfully I was in 2D so we just got berated for not shutting up during life drawing classes XD

Best of luck with your illustration! I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun and essentially that's what it's all about!

BTW just checked out your blog. I'm super jealous of your figurine collection! It's awesome!

Just read about you in Neo lol. Had to google/youtube to see if the this vid was available to watch lol.

I'm doing an animation course atm, but its far too confining.... it focuses on 3D animation which is being tedious... Am rethinking my choice lol. Will be switching course, probably to illustration or something similar, as I love drawing, and we dont do enough on this course lol.
