Lorna Tells Kevin She's Scared

Lorna calls Jenna to remind her about the meeting with Victor Rodriguez regarding Felicia's drinking, but the conversation doesn't go well. Kevin arrives to find Lorna frustrated and angry, and he tells her that he'll be there with her when she spends her "only day off with Mother Cory, my bratty little sister, and some ex-junkie who's gonna tell me about my mother's alcohol problem." That is, Kevin amends, he'll be there unless Lorna wants to be alone. She tells him she needs him with her, then tells him that she doesn't even know who she is anymore. This family stuff is no picnic. Kevin tells Lorna it's a lot more than family, and she knows it. Lorna wouldn't be doing this for Felicia if she didn't love Felicia, and that's what's making her crazy. He adds that if she's scared about this, he wants her to tell him and let him in. Lorna admits she's scared. What if they help Felicia and she doesn't want their help? What if Felicia tells them all to get lost and doesn't get the help that she needs and she ends up hating them anyway? Kevin replies that at the very least, Lorna will know that she did her best to help her mother. Lorna asks whatever happened to easy; she liked easy. Kevin tells Lorna she's got some of that in her life right here, and they hug. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.
