  • Hey I hoped you could answer a couple questions. I just wondered what caused you to get into hydrogeology and what you like most about it. I'm trying to figure out how interested I might be in it myself. Thanks!

  • @stevehasgotit I became interested in hydrogeology after taking physical and chemical hydrogeology classes in my undergrad and working on a project with the professor for the next year. I liked how you could apply geologic skills to answering questions about possible groundwater contamination or ability to extract useable water from an area. It also allows for opportunities to work in more areas than oil/gas or mineral explorations as there are GW concerns in most places, although it pays less
