Militec gun conditioner. Keeps firearms lubed even when completely wiped off and dry. Can be used in every firearm.
Check them out http://www.militec1.com/ Check out "The messages from our troops" section to see how GREAT this company is!!!!!!

  • I have been really interested to try both the conditioner and the grease on my new H&K P30, since it runs better dry. The only thing that has me hesitant to purchase this stuff is I keep reading how LOUSY of an anti-corrosive it is...even after being cleaned with BF CLP. I would hate to see my near thousand dollar weapon with a film of rust on it from ITWB carry in the Texas heat. Thoughts/experience/advice?

  • @highlander11339

I am also in Texas, where the humidity is terrible. I do not have an issue with any corrosion, I carry a blued ultra ITWB. I treated my pistol very well inside and out and I do however wipe my pistol down every few days, but I do this reguardless of the fact I use Militec on it. Also I have never seen any real corrosion testing done with Militec, I have read what some net nijas write or complain, but I doubt they even have the product, just want to see themselfs troll! TFW

Great review. So after first application and then firing, do you need to use Hoppes/CLP anymore? Or can you just wipe everything clean, heat the gun, and reapply?

  • @bradleywalters1

Thanks for watching. After the first application I wipe everything clean, run patches through the bore with CLP (insert your favorite brand here). Then I re apply Militec to the bore and all lube points. I do use a hairdryer after my cleaning just to heat the metal up, then wipe it down and in the safe it goes

  • Militec is not a good system. It is not a cleaner-I have had my team discontinue. BTW-The Army no longer uses Militec.

  • @casherrc

LOL, no its still used, and no one ever claimed its a cleaner. Good luck with your "team" hope the power dont go out, just think all those gamers freaking out!!!!! LMAO!!!!

  • I've been using Militec 1 for guns since 1985. It's a GREAT product. I buy it by the case. I also use it in my vehicles including my motorcycle. Just add (per bottle instructions) when changing the oil. I don't add to transmission but I know people who do.

  • Great video... Very informative!! Militec is great!!

  • I used a toaster oven set to 120 degrees. Worked fine for both my LCP and P238. Obviously I didnt do the plastic composite stuff, but the slides and barrels are much easier to clean now. Magazines too.

Also you can use a foam Q-tip for the tiny nooks and cranny's. If you cant find them use the tiny sponge paint brushes found in hardware stores.

  • Prior to my retirement at a power plant, our maintenance dept. ordered a trial of Militec to be utilized on some of their machinery. I took some home, it worked great. It's a great lubricant... Good video.
