Gawd! The audience even applauded this dreck. The Spanish must be easily pleased or played. The last time simulated sex or nudity in opera was mildly scandalous or innovatice was back in the seventies. The only scandalous thing about this staging is that we are expected to see it as a new take on the Don. Sorry. The emperor has no clothes or imagination. Shame on the audience!
