I would have never been capable of doing this because Owl City doesn't seem big on percussion. Plus I just would have never thought of it.

To answer your question yes and no. Yes because I had to create something that wasnt there, and no because I just played to my strengths...

Owl City is not big on percussion, but he does have a lot of different sounds, so I figure I would try to utilize anything on the set that could make noise. It is easy for anyone to throw down a rock beat over a song.
