Track 12 (last one) of the LONG deleted and very rare Desperate Character LP. I don't see there being any bones about posting this now. Enjoy. God bless Kirsty and RIP. www.justiceforkirsty.org

  • Wow, I always thought the version I had was the "country" one...but I guess I think it might be the one she did with Billy Bragg...but I dunno.

If it is him, he sings backup.

  • both the country version and the rock 'n roll uptempo version are great!

  • awww this is LOVELY! Never even knew there WAS a 'Country' version. Thanks for sharing it.

    We still miss Kirsty....

  • R.I.P

  • talking to Paul Young "where ever I lay my head ..."

  • she is so special get straight to my soul

  • good call, really sweet song.

  • 'Don't Come The Cowboy with Me, Sonny Jim' was one of the songs Kirsty sang in her musical interludes on 'French and Saunders', though I can't remember if it was in the second or third series.
