Oooh I love this video, I cried when I watched it, he's my second favourite character of Basilisk...

Maybe I'm stupid, but I've a little question about Hyôma :

Is he really blind, or does he close his eyes because his power is always active?

Because I believed he was blind since his birth, but I read he can't open his eyes because he risked killing someone unintentionally...

(I'm french, I hope you understood what I said...)

If i remember correctly it isn't made clear in the anime whether he is blind or not, so

i assume he had his eyes closed so he wouldn't kill anyone accidentally

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw such a great warrior dying like that..., but for me he is still the ultimate ninja, honorable, strong and wisdom, he remained standing in his death..., for me he is the best.

While I dislike most of the Koga, I did like Hyoma, WAY more than Gennosuke. The title of the AMV really fits him, kind of like something you would find written on a tombstone.

part 3:23 and on brings me tears !! Hyoma was by far one if not the best character in Basilisk!! It's a shame he died just because Koshiro got lucky..
