  • ruined my go pro. water leaked in. by by 45 dollars on lens and 350 on camera.

  • @InfinityFishingTeam How did it leak? Did you re-use the rubber gasket? Did you tighten down as instructed? Did you test your housing before a real dive? At what depth?

  • Good afternoon friend I changed the lens as instructed by you. However the photos are shot with this camera up with a black border around. Why is this happening? Will be setting up your camera? thanks

  • @aldrisrm Our lenses are only vignette free for r5 mode 1080p resolution. All other modes are 170 degrees wide and will have the black border as you find. However you can crop your video afterwards.

  • @GoPro1988 what do you want to know? ;P

  • @TheJohnnyViewer i want to know that too.

  • @asdclay shure but unfortunately sticking the lens to the rubber o-ring is necessary to prevent leaking and after several disassemblings it could become a lot looser. If I had two housings I would never change this lens.

  • @TheJohnnyViewer

As you can see in the video, you just have to remove the bolts, install the new lens, and add the bolts. You can do it backwards as well

  • what size philips is that?

  • do you guys offer a red filter for underwater operations?

  • Thank YOU!

    Just ordered .

  • Hi, can I remove this lens and then mount it again whith no worries about leaking?

  • @Hoontrakul well I had a warranty so I got a brand new one. I am going to try again except this time follow this tutorial and test it without camera first lol.
