How do you motivate a known slacker? By first looking in the mirror and admitting that some of your management practices may have allowed this employee to slide. Find out how to turn your laid-back, lackadaisical employee into a focused, valuable member of your team by being specific with your language and taking the time to coach them.

  • I been laid off for 2 years am I a slacker

  • slacker? Very bigoted. In my experience a "slacker" has become disengaged with his workplace because of management practices, bullying, no incentive, feel they are not being heard or listened too,bad organisational skills of management. So yes first look in the mirror is great advice. If someone is standing around with nothing to do. then their manager has not done their job properly.

  • Can you all just SHUT THE F*CK UP!
