I had a very similar EXPERIENCE at the same town with the same police. In 2005 I entered a writing contest in Car and Driver and had my story published about my EXPERIENCES as the 10 best stories contest. It was in Jan. 2005, on page 84. The name of the story is DELIVERANCE. I have been asked if I am afraid of reprisals from the Roland PD. I say "nope, they can't read"! If you folks get a chance, find and read that story! If you was pulled over in Tulsa they probably would have planted a bag of their own in your vehicle. That would have made for a good spoof and you can use it if you like. “Move over Captain, I’ll give him a bag of my own”.

Love's how people talk sh!t about cop's. They are only doing their jobs. You love'em when your in trouble but other than that, everyone hates them. Crazy how people can dislike someone so much when the cops are out there risking their lifes for YOUR saftey.

greg...this so funny and so true...i just moved to roland in dec of 2010 from ft smith and have already had my run in with the law here...got a ticket for sitting at stop sign...lol says i was going 56 in a 45 but i was not moving...that went to court...but judge and and pd is all crokked i have to say....i refuse vehicle search also....lol

Good news, Roland cops can no longer patrol on I-40. State of Oklahoma banned them due to all the policing for profit stops.

Thank you Greg I love this. I have lived in Sallisaw, OK, Fort Smith, AR and now Van Buren, AR. Everyone knows obey the law in Roland, OK. Never drive slow or fast! You are a funny guy!
