@SuperCgirl11 If you want to believe horror stories written for uneducated desert tribes who live in fear under warlords good luck to you. Parroting their bilge is all about building the cult. It doesn’t work on people who are grown up and learned to think rationally. There is no god. God is an advertising scam and it was very successful for a long time.

@NotEnoughLions Psalm 14:1 Only fools say in their hearts, "There is no God". They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them is good! 14:4 Will those who do evil never learn? They eat up my people like bread and wouldn't think of praying to the Lord. Terror will grip them, for God is with those who obey him. The wicked frustrate the plans of the oppressed, but the Lord will protect his people.

@SuperCgirl11 We don’t bring up our children to accept anything they’re told without evidence yet you imagine a god rewards that kind of behavior? Of course we know why faith is made a virtue. It's because god is man made and there is no evidence for him. Why would a real god punish those who don’t believe he exists since he hides? How do you even know you’re following the right god? You don’t. You just believe without question in a state of blindness and think that’s virtue.

If god is indifferent, then we won't suffer if we don’t accept Christianity. If god is just, then we have nothing to fear from the honest use of our reason. But if there's an 'unjust god', then we have much to fear. So we might as well go on what reason tells us, that there is no god, because we won't be able to do anything about an unjust god anyway even if we did accept Christianity.
