@ozdonz I've seen them live and they're unbelievably good. Tight, professional artists and musicians and it doesn't take these guys long to turn the tent upside down. They only problem with seeing them live is that once isn't enough- there are lots of bands that I've seen and afterwards thought: been there done that. With these guys it's definitely a case of can't wait til the next tour!

@Uilleannpiper1 actually there have been scottish highland travellers since the 12th century who are similar in culture to the irish travellers. A lot moved to northern ireland and vice versa. The romanies have been in england, wales and south scotland from the 15th century. And more recently the Roma a branch of the romani people who are into petty theft.

just a thought? But is this the same Mike Scott that is dating Rachel Barrell of Phantom of th opera, and the partial owner of spotlight youth theatre? Just wandering if anyone knows because those two names pop up together alot! oh, and love this song!
