An imaginary clown annoys his real-life counterpart to seemingly no end.
This is a silent film, but when the characters did speak, they said "Salt peanuts!" and "Mmmm... Salty!", because this film originally featured the track "Salt Peanuts", a cover performed by the swing band Royal Crown Revue just over ten years ago (so ignore the final film credit). Instead of allowing this video to remain as is, Warner Music Group ordered Google's YouTube to take it down, even though it harmlessly promoted WMG's product. It's their loss, because this pre-licensed track that this particular upload is now using works just fine.
So... while we wait for arcane copyright laws in the United States to be updated, enjoy my silent film, sans the soul-crushing grip of that which is the recording industry!
As much as clowns scare me, that was cool. Way to go using Royan Crown Revue. Love those guys. One of the bbest live shows EVER!
