hi

i have 650 w version two fans

and have two mode noisy with light and silence mode

i would like if i can use silent mode with games at long time no risks !!

i'm still wondering about the same question ,

my case doesnt have a dust filter on the bottom.

but if yours does ,i woulld place tthe psu with the fan down.

if it doesnt have a dust filter on the bottom ,i'm afraid the fan of the psu will suck in a lot of dust in the psu causing fire danger.

i am considering making a dust filter on the psu, but i am also afraid 'that causes heat problems.

but i probably gonna place it upside down with the fan inside the case.

That's all very well. But for 1.5 times the price my previous 400 Watt Power supply was, the 500 W Silent Pro M ist considerably louder.

the fan faces down if you have a bottom mounted powersupply case?

how u guys recommend me to set up my psu : with fan to my case ore out of my case ( psu is under in the Case)

Yeah, I got 700 watter and it's barely audible...

Apparently this psu is at its most 'noisy' around the 200-250watt region... Wouldn't that be the sort of power you would be using under normal circumstances?

Still, I don't think that'll stop me getting one.
