@Piercingtheveil81 As an impartial observer (not jewish, christian or muslim), reading Deuteronomy 13, it is clear that it is a command by "God" as an instruction to the jews that were rescued from Egypt during the Exodus. I certainly don't interpret it as "Kill everyone who leaves Christianity". It is stupid, but it is more likely telling the jews not to leave being jewish during that time. There were not Christians during that time. Nonetheless, there's no jewish sect that practices that now.

Deuteronomy 13:9,10

New International Version (NIV)

"9 You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery."

As explained even in liberal Jewish commentaries, the penalty for apostasy is death. What other way is there to understand these verses?

New International Version (NIV) "6 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them."

@Piercingtheveil81 1) I'm not a christian 2) Deuteronomy 13:6-10 does not say that, please go read it carefully 3) Unlike islam, no Christian sect or group, subgroup, whatever you want to call it agrees to put apostates of Christians to death. 4) I'm not trying to paint Islam as backward. Islam is islam, it has nothing to do with backward or forwards. 5) Muslims are generally nice people, perhaps nicer than most other people 6) Most muslim don't know islam.

im muslim and what this girl is saying is true . but in her case i dont trust this pastor she with . she met his onlline . and im sure he told her to run away. i think he have dirty thoughts in his head about this young girl. and he brainwash her to believe her father will hurt her this man wants her for himself. later we will hear he married her or had sex with her this not the end of this story. she is a beautiful girl and he is a dirty man. and i bet he paid for her bus ticket

The angry man on the right doesn't seem to know much about 15 year old girls....they are not as easily controlled as he put forward. Especially American teenage girls. I know when I was 15 I didn't need to be told what was real or what to think, I just needed to research and I could have facts to base my opinions on.

That's not what it says and there is no legal system for doing that, whether it is in a Christian country or not.
