@jdrhjr thats greatest chant in the world. Only Steve Austin can create a chant with a simple word like that and years after hes left the ring people are still using that. Nobody else can do that or re-create it.

There have been times when I've laughed so hard I've cried watching wrestling.
He says comedy doesn't sell tickets, but look at Santino's pop at HIAC. Look at The Rock every time he cuts a promo. Look at the Steve Austin feud with Kurt Angle. Jim Cornette's a dipshit.

I agree, for example Colt Cabana is not going to reach a main event status being a comedian, but when he gets serious, just do a youtube search for his promos agains Homicide back in 2005

I agree with this to an extent. They should trim out the overtly goofy shit, like men wearing dresses and fart jokes... but it doesn't have to be 100% serious all the way through.

@jdrhjr The "WHAT" started from Stone Cold as a heel...which was great. It's not Austins fault that chant has now turned to a chant against heels when it originally started to piss off the fans.

@jdrhjr The Rattlesnake kicks ass, and is one of my favorites, but I will NEVER forgive him for the What? chant. I hate promos anymore, because the second anyone takes a breath I hear that chant. I did love how CM Punk addressed it to Austin. "Annoying isn't it?" Yes, yes it is.

@voteforcanman He does. What he's saying is that the WWE is placing comedy forward at the expense of seriousness. His "House MD" comment was a good comparison; House can be funny at times, but it's never at the expensive of the drama. That's what he's saying here; the comedy has to be timed right or else it'll take away from the rest of the product.
