You're right. You COULD throw a punch and call it gung fu, but it wouldn't be. It would just be a punch. However, Gung Fu, Judo, Taekwondo, Karate, etc. aren't just about punches and kicks and nunchucks. There is much more to martial arts than the physical aspect. It takes mental discipline, training, skill, and a little talent to make the physical part of marial arts truly spectacular. So you're right to a certain degree, yes, a punch is punch, but martial arts is much more than that.

This kid is the grand master of his own neo nunchuku class. its not used to fight its used for kata's or also known as forms. Still wouldnt piss him off though.
