  • @dakwanster I use Geektool for my mac to get all the time and stuff on my desktop. Then I photoshoped the cracked background image and extracted just the black crack, then used that as an image in geek tool and set it above everything else.

    Sounds kind of confusing, sorry :P

  • Can you send me the info for the date/time/weather stuff on the desktop?

  • When I hit CTRL-O to save my changes, it opens an "Open" dialog box. Cancelling the dialog returns me to editing the file, but then I can't quit or get help or any other CTRL- commands and have to shut down the terminal window. What happened? I patched the host by copying it to my desktop then replacing it in /etc, but this doesn't solve the issue of why I couldn't write. Any thoughts? Thanks!
