  • Kowalski was pretty old at this time but still main eventing. He started back in the 50's (I think). This is the toupee' wearing era for Killer. He also would don a mask that was also purple and had a gold lightening bolt on the forehead. I saw him as The Destroyer Killer Kowalski in the late 80's at an indy show. He wore, I think long blue tights and a blue mask.

  • One of the great"bad guys"of all time...

  • I think they pulled the archives and changed the commentary. Jesse Ventura wasn't in this area then and notice the crowd noise isn't hindering the voices.

  • The fan love it back back then. You can just hear the crowd roaring.

  • @Inediblehulk It's him!

  • Is that Jesse Ventura calling the match? Sounds like him, but not totally.

  • @elc1960 : i guess all we can do now is hope that the WWE enterprise will consider our request & yes i'm aware that the Bruno/Pedro spectacular match is long gone, but u never knw somewhere out there someone might of recorded it who knws!..thx Friend..Cheers! =0)

  • @tornmask Thanks, but I'm not sure how likely that will be. As for your comment about the Bruno/Pedro match: that one does not exist on video, just in still pictures. Find out how to get in touch with either George Napolitano or Bill Apter; they would be the most likely people to have photos of the match and could tell you more about it. Also, try Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine (if it still exists), or maybe Dr. Michael Lano (another very famous wrestling photographer). Cheers!

  • @elc1960 : ur quite right it is a darn shame!..i jus hope these folks in the new WWE will take heed & cater to classic wrestling fans like u, i & others who love these vintage wrestling dvds! =ol
