NBC's introduction to the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Torino, Italy. The video ran just before the opening ceremonies of the Games, and it is one of sports broadcasting's greatest accomplishments. Also includes Jim Lampley's opening comments from the news desk.

Mother fucker. There is nothing in all of sport film or advertisement that will ever approach the stunning magnificence and perfect combination of music, visual film and commentary that is shown in this short piece.
My heart hurts, as if stabbed.
This is a thing that you do not see in film-making any more: This piece wears its raw emotions on its sleeves and makes no place for cynicism or jest.

@wellstated07 I'm sorry, but I had originally taped the entire broadcast of the opening ceremonies only to delete it later.
