  • I'm a life long Tory, but I have an enormous amount of respect, regard and admiration for Dennis Skinner - a true socialist in a non-socialist Labour party.

  • @Kozzy06. You idiot. It may have been 25 year ago, but the damage is permanent. Communities have never recoevered. Either you don't live in a mining community and don't understand that, or you do and you are just plain stupid. Either way shut up. And I sincerely hope for your sake youdon't work in, or really on, any public services, because Cameron is going to do the same to public services as Thatcher did to the miners.

  • Miners need to get over it, It was 25 years ago.

  • @LittleOldLady1 I'm a life long UKIP'er, but I have an enormous amount of respect, regard and admiration for Norman Tebbit- a true conservative in a non-conservative conservative party.

  • Him and Foot were genuinly principled. The other members of the Hard Left were a bunch of hypocritical charlatans who preached redistribution and the abolition of private property yet is a multi millionaire with a 40 room mansion in Holland Park and a country estate in Sussex.
