N in that case I feel sorry for the child 2 have to live with such a person, but come on a couple hundred dollars a month, you'll be able to pay for 1 week of daycare with that. N don't let the brothers off because yes they do contribute well ur with them, n when they do leave, don't even visit their kids. u could allows file for joint custody, n not pay anything, but then again you would b responsible

Women cannot get men for child support unless he signs the birth certificate. if he doesn't he can't get got w/o proving paternity & he can run from that until the day he dies. Truth is the ball's in his court if he WANTS to be a deadbeat squirrel who disregards his child. Fathers who have custody can order their baby's mom to pay child support too, so it's a 2-way street. Niggas like this just want to excuse being reckless. Grow up, be a man & take care of your kids because THEY deserve it.

Also, if the woman was foolish enough to disregard the man's lack of integrity, or was blind to that, that doesn't mean he shouldn't be obligated to provide for his offspring. It's for the child, not her. And if she's taking advantage because she "spiteful," then he should have peeped that about her too, correct? What does that say about him? Just because one, the other, or both were wrong, that shoudn't affect the child's quality of life.

Obviously child support should not be implemented if the father is taking care of his children, but if the man refuses to provide for his children, then he ought to be legally bound to pay. It's pretty simple.

But yes it is harder on the working class and an issue many upper class people don't understand because they've already got the money to give without hurting. So these lawyers are easy to convince. Well it must take a "deadbeat mom" to break it off with him when she's already getting everything he can give. And then take his money for a child the state says isn't even his?!!! I really feel you on this, but I think what should really be addressed is the corrupt or confused system which allows this SLAVERY. The women are just pawns. Anyone with a little common sense can figure out that it's an INJUSTICE to MEN and CHILDREN. Who will be raised by the state in the broken home.
