Japan's Robot Labor: Vanguard

As Japan's population slowly shrinks, the island nation has come to rely more and more on its mechanized labor force. Sounds like a movie, but it's totally true.
This weekend a report came out showing that Japan's economy has been shrinking as well, to the point that it was necessary to start laying off *robot* laborers.
Vanguard's Adam Yamaguchi produced an episode of Vanguard called "Robot Nation" exploring Japan, it's population decline and its reliance on a robotic labor force.
"Vanguard," airing Mondays at 9/8c on Current TV, is a no-limits documentary series whose award-winning correspondents put themselves in extraordinary situations to immerse viewers in global issues that have a large social significance.

Japan's largest problem is lack of competitive IT industry/infrastructure,especi­ally in the financial sector. Japan will import its e-government from Korea,the No.1 country in e-government. Japan,Korea and Taiwan are at similar level of robot technology. Korea has already combat robots in service.
