This video is to be used to accompany an upcoming exhibition based on several aspects of life in Sri Lanka.
There will be three main components:
1.AFTER THE TSUNAMI.
Video footage, photographs and the written word describing experiences of those filmed both during and after the Tsunami of 2004. The direction during the video footage was to remember back to the day of the disaster and how they felt now six years on.
2.THE VEDDA'S.
Unique photographs taken of time spent with the ancient indigenous Vedda tribe of Dabana. Eastwood was fortunate enough to connect over a period of time with a tribe that is rapidly disappearing into the modern world.
3. THE PEOPLES OF SRI LANKA
Portraits of Sri Lankans from all walks of modern day life captured over a period of two years of traveling the island.
